Train Accident: Two freight trains and one passenger train collided in a major accident near Fatehgarh Sahib Sirhind, injuring many POP workers.

Punjab Train Accident: At Fatehgarh Sahib Sirhind, there has been a significant railway accident. A passenger train and two freight trains have collided. Numerous people, including the pilot, are hurt. Both of the freight trains’ pilots have sustained injuries.

In Fatehgarh Sahib, there has been a significant accident. On Sunday, at about 3:30 in the am, a train disaster happened close to Madhopur Chowki, which is not far from Sirhind Railway Station. Here, two trains collided. A passenger train was also struck, and the engine of a cargo train toppled.

The incident resulted in injuries to two loco pilots. They are identified as Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh natives Vikas Kumar (37) and Himanshu Kumar (31). With the assistance of 108 ambulance, they were brought to Civil Hospital Fatehgarh Sahib, where the physician, seeing their dire situation, recommended they be sent to Rajindra Hospital, Patiala.

At Civil Hospital Fatehgarh Sahib, Dr. Evenpreet Kaur reported that Vikas Kumar had sustained a brain injury. Himanshu is in severe condition due to a back injury. Fortunately, no significant lives have been lost in this disaster.

Based on available information, the accident occurred close to the New Sirhind station on the DFCC freight train route. Here were two coal-loaded trains already in position. One goods train’s engine broke off, colliding with the other before toppling over and becoming lodged in the passenger train Summer Special, which was traveling from Ambala to Jammu Tawi.

The cargo train’s bogies also tumbled over one another in the mishap. Hundreds of people inside the passenger train began to scream as soon as it crashed. The collision has resulted in injuries to two loco pilots. However, the Ambala to Ludhiana up line is completely at a stop. Senior representatives from the Ambala division’s DRM as well as the GRP, RPF, and railroads arrived at the location.

According to officials

Rajindra Hospital, Patiala has been recommended to treat the two wounded loco pilots from the train accident, according to Dr. Ivanpreet Kaur of Fatehgarh Sahib Civil Hospital. They both live in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

“We were informed that there had been an accident at around 3:45 in the morning. We’ve arrived at the appropriate location. After suffering injuries, two loco pilots were brought to the Civil Hospital in Fatehgarh Sahib for treatment. According to Rattan Lal of the Sirhind police station’s Government Railway Police (GRP), no injuries have been recorded.
